I have been asked to sub on this league and it's the chameleon shot. I have a GT1 and a TR2. Will either of these balls work on this shot???? I do have a couple of other options if either these are not recommended. Thanks for all info.....

how are they layed out and how do you throw the ball? i can use one of my GT1's on that pattern but not my other 2 sooo with that being said it depends on that and what surface it is being layed out on...

As Dustin asked, how do you throw it. Oddly enough our league just bowled on the chameleon (we rotate shots). I managed a small 8 for 4 games. I was very distracted dealing with my wife calling from another state to inform me her purse was stolen. Anyway, I used my QZ red, pin up. The fresh was a little jumpy but once they carried down, things got better. The GT1 may be too much ball. The TR2 may be a little better if your house puts out the pattern any where close to the center I bowl in.

I bowled on this pattern last night and it played alot dryer than it normally does so i used my recon on the right lane and my SX1 on the left lane then ended up using the SX1 on both lanes just killing it on the right lane and shot 647..no GT1 lastnight lol
sorry to hear about the wife getting her purse snatched...hope she is ok andeverything is alright with that

The lanes are synthetic, I am more of a stroker and my GT1 is drilled to hook up a hair early. My TR2 is drilled to go long. I also have a black widow that is drilled to go long and a columbia 300 perfect rival that also is drilled to go long??????Advice Dustin.......................

I have had my best success chameleon pattern with the SX1 with the pin up 5x4 not weight hole.Sanded to 1500.
Also the SR2 pin down 5 X 4 between fingers. Sanded to 2000 and polished. The SR2 works best when the lane opens up,it gives me more area.
With these two balls I have been able to average well over 200 on this pattern. The patterns that are shorter than 40 feet ,usually have given me more problems than the longer oil because of my speed 15-17mph and tilt.
But these two balls have helped greatly.
