I am seeking the advice of some of the Motiv gurus on this site. I am going to punch out a new Motiv line up for the season which include - Raptor (used on heavy oil), Simga T (THS Benchmark), Backdraft, Recon (really dry) I already own and love all these balls but just need out side eyes to try on the new balls. I havent figured out my axis tilt/rotation but have a video of release

PAP - 6 1/8 x 7/8
Speed - 16mph
Revs - 315

Thanks in advance

Here is a video I found and it seems like the best way to accurately determine axis tilt. I have tried using video but this seems to be more accurate.

The USBC axis tilt table can be found at this link (last page).

I hope this helps you.

You appear to be high rotation and low tilt, very common. I'd estimate 70* rotation and 12-14* tilt.

Tilt is easy to measure, trace the first oil line and measure the diameter and this value is converted to degrees. Verify this number before we proceed with layouts.

Thanks for the info so far. I finally got overlay thing figured out, that was tougher than i thought it would have been lol. Off of what i seen if i did it right 70* is right on for rotation and 12* for tilt. I appreciate the layouts on all them balls, I have drilled my own balls for awhile now with great results and I always wondered what some one else would do for me who knows what they are doing also. Also I am going to move down to 14lb for a season for the heck of it. Thanks again

Raptor: 60x50@3.5" P3 Hole
SigT: 55x40@5.5" No hole
Backdraft: 60x55@4.25" Hole 2" down VAL
Recon: 60x45@5" No Hole

Can further tune the SigT and Recon with a hole placement if need be.
