You said you have a 4.5" pin but is it above or below the fingers? Since you said your SR2 snaps hard, I will assume it is above your fingers. The Cruel will most likely start up alittle sooner & have a few more boards 'pop' in the b/e. I also feel the Cruel makes a stronger & more continuous move through the pocket. If you're looking for the Cruel to be your heavy oil ball then pin next to or slightly above ring finger w/mb straight down & a P3 or P4 hole should do the trick. If I'm not mistaken you live in the Cincy area. Talk to Dustin & he will be able to help you. Good luck!

I think the C51 will be the springboard that will launch Motiv into main stream, and give them the capital to get a full registration with the PBA. It's a ball like this that usualy sells truck loads. A strong asymmetrical ball that looks bad A$$, and works on a large variety of lane conditions.
I'm pumped guys and girls,
Michael

You're right, this Cruel is a great ball that will help Motiv alot. Very anticipated in my area. However, I do not want to see them rush into being fully registered w/PBA. That will cost ALOT of money $$ !! $125k PLUS they would need at least 2-3 players on staff, total cost there would be another $100k PLUS they have to have balls on the truck at all times. Man, it is expensive & I really do not think it is worth it anymore. WRW broke E.A.'s record using MoRich then switched to 900 Global & kept winning. I can't sale either in my area. Nobody asks for any of their stuff. I still contend that the local pro shops, local staff members, and high-caliber amateurs do more to sale bowling balls than being a nat'l brand on the PBA Tour. The people at the bowling centers see & talk to these people on a continuous basis. They almost never talke to WRW, PDW, etc. Just my $.035 worth ($.02 adjusted for inflation).

Bob,
You hit the nail on the head. I think the PBA might have another year, two at the most. Plus, as you said, how many people actually get to talk to those guys about what balls to buy. Now on the other side, I did have someone on my pair Sunday say "I'm going to get me one of those" about my QZ red. Probably because I was whackin it and he wasn't. He got all the info he needed from me after that comment. I'm alot cheaper than WRW or PDW also.

I agree Brett, and guess what, I'm the only guy using Motiv that I know of in my Massillon - Canton area. You know I would be a good Rep or staffer. I'm already hooked with Motiv (insert double entendre) and I'm stirring up a lot of positive buzz about the brand. With the RX1, TZ3, and C51 I'll have more opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of the line along with what I already have. When I go to practice on Sunday afternoons now bowlers almost expect super high scores. I've already shown several onlookers what a live 300 looks like. Man I'm pumped, oops I mean MOTIVated for the next few months. Hopefully by the end of August you'll see me out at the regionals.
Can't wait till Friday (RX1's & TZ3 will be here),
Michael

One way or another, I love the brand. Thanks man I hope you and dustin make the finals on sunday, I'll be at stow-kent and then b-line it to the finals. I'll be using the two new RX1's and maybe the TZ3.

Ok... How are some of you guys owning C51's already? Because you're ball drillers/reps? Hook me up! Dustin, you're local for me! Local enough, anyways. I'll even let ya drill it! I just have to cash in some pop cans to raise the money for it!
