I'm looking for layout recommendations for a QZ2 Backdraft and Pin to CG suggestions before I order. My thoughts on this ball would be for me to throw straight up 10, or throw 15 to 10 board and have a good strong backend. I'm very pleased with my Raptor and Sigma Tour layouts those can be found in my sig below. With these balls I play more inside.
I'm slowly replacing all of the other balls (Storm and 900 Global) in my arsenal with MOTIV. Mostly I have strong coverstocks since I do not see a lot of dry lane conditions in my area. I'm also looking to add the Primal Impulse when available.

When ordering a ball for any of my customers I always tell my distributor that I want 3"-4" pins. Since I have a 5+" span I try to get 4+" Pin/CG's for myself. This will allow good flexibility in layouts. Your stats are in the same ball park as mine so based on that and your layouts on the Raptor & Sigmas my recommendations is a 60x4x40 with a +/- 5 on the angles. From what I've seen on the Backdrafts I've drilled for people of various styles I think it would fit in to what you are looking for. Always best to have you pro shop guy watch you throw & make the necessary tweaks to coverstock and/or weight hole.
