After getting back into the world of bowling and picking up my first Motiv (red QZ1), I decided to go with a complete Motiv line up. After a brief practice session the other day I got the opportunity to throw a Storm Natural and really liked the reaction i got from the ball, not really sure of the layout on the ball, but it was the right span so i went with it. Just curious as to when we might see a answer to the Natural in Motiv's line up. I will be punching up a Recon by the end of the month, but after watching some different video's released by Motiv staffers the Recon is still a touch stronger then a Natural. I don't plan on adding any lighting bolts to the bag so I hope a pure Urethane ball is coming soon.

Also, if anyone out there is interested in a Storm Reign of Fire with about 5 games on it pin below the ring cg kicked slightly right let me know..... ill give you one hell of a deal, and even better if you handle the shipping costs. The first ball tested in the attached link has the same layout if your interested.

Sounds great Brett. I'm excited for the plastic. Either with or without a core. I agree with blueliner011, My natural is always in one of my Motiv bags when I'm on a short shot. It's like a stray cat, I just can't get rid of it for the sport shots. When my release is sketchy from shot to shot it makes up for it in controll, Same for my Lane #1 XXXL on lighter sport shots.

Michael

P.S. I had a little more meat on the bone of my paycheck this week so I was able to rub some nickles togeather to get a Cruel C51 afterall. Tuesday baby. Bowling Thursday and video Thursday afternoon.

Do not know if you would consider the Recon to be Motiv's answer to the Storm Natural but the Recon is a very good dry lane ball. I drilled mine w/alittle aggressive layout but I can play in "the dirt" on most THS. Very smooth yet continuous reaction out there. Will go long if I tug it in the oil. Think you will really like it when the lanes really break down. Good luck w/it , blueliner011, and welcome to Motiv-nation.
