Don't know how "snappy" you will be able to get the Raptor to be. My experience is that asymm balls are strong arc'ers but not snappy like a symm ball, especially the new Primal Impulse (shameless plug). However, I have two (2) Raptors, the strongest B/E is pin over bridge, MB 1.5" right of thumb & P2.5 hole. The other is a Double Thumb layout & it has a strong mid-lane read w/continuation. Surface adjustments to 2000 or even 1000 abralon pad will make them even stronger. Hope this helps & stay Motiv-ated.

Thanks for the input
But i thought it was the other way around? Asymmetrical balls are supposed to flip and symmetrical was more of an arc?
Im just looking for a layout that will give me the most backend out of the raptor?

Hey twhite757, I am throwing a 13 # P7 and I drilled it with my pin 3 7/8 from PAP @ 1:00 just above ring finger,CG is kicked out about 3/4 " . It has a terrific backend ! I set up near 32 send it over close to 15 @ the arrows and shove it down lane to about 42 feet @ it"s breakpoint . What a Breakpoint !!. Hope this helps you. Chris @ DBPS

If you are wanting that snappy look on the Raptor, then you could look at maybe throwing a 80x30@3" on it!
