getting A Thrash need an idea how to drill it for My speed and lack of hand. light to med ths 40- 42 ft syn lanes I play down and in starting down the 8 board most of the time Thanks !

Based on the info you've provided & the layouts you have on your existing arsenal, may want to try a 50x4.25x35 w/P3 hole to make it stronger in the mids if you think (after throwing it) you need it. Mine is drilled similar except w/45 at VAL angle & it is clean thru the heads & picks up on the back part of the mids. Very good THS ball & short oil sport patterns. Hope this helps & good luck.

whats the point of the dropped ring finger? jus curious?

Dropped ring finger usually enables a bowler to come around the ball and "spin" is more rather than "roll" it. Should lower the track as well.

badbeard - have you thrown the Thrash w/this layout? How does it work?

For those who have read my last few post I am doing better. My torn slide foot tendon now sports a brace. This allows me to bowl with a full approach. After the injury I was trying to bowl just standing at the foul line with only mild success. Last night after returning to my men's league. I started with a 171- 188 and then I found my line and the Thrash did the rest front 9 then that dreaded
ringing 10 picked it up. And then one last strike for a 279. My bowling bag if full of Motiv weapons. And I am back to scoring and doing my share as anchor. Can another 300 be far away? Orrrr maybe just maybe my first ever 800. Thanks Motiv for great weapons . And thanks to the guys and gals of the Motiv nation who take the time to share their ideas and layouts.

Ball at this time does not have the p3 hole as you suggested.
dropped finger has lowered my track which used to be right next to the thumb hole it now is down about 11/4 inches
my question to you is why such a long pin to pap as most of my stuff is closer to 3 3/8 except my primal t4. Very happy with the longer pin to pap.I think it helps me retain my tilt longer and stores energy for the back end. What ever I have lost in track flare I have gained in pin carry if I am seeing what I think I am seeing. Thrash has been so good that the rest of my Motiv weapons are getting a rest while I learn to bowl with the ankle brace on my slide foot. Thanks for your help I am a newer ball driller. Just the last 2 years and I am working hard to understand the duel angle layouts. To give my customers better weapons. And sell some Motiv balls here in the country of east TEXAS Headed to Nats in March.
