I jus picked up a primal impulse....im up in the air about a layout...i want this thing to be a monster but i dont want over/under LOL
pap 6 1/8 by 1/4 up
speed 17mph?
rpm:320ish
tilt:? no idea
rotation:? no idea

i ask the same thing, i dont know the dual angle method so i always ask for a picture LOL

fupa, i can understand them, but i couldnt tell you what the layout looks like....therefore i have no idea, my proshop guy doesnt do the dual angle method so the only way i can understand is pictures of the layouts and then lay them out as i see them. i have read that link 5 or 6 times, it never gets easier.

The picture of the layout doesn't really matter just cause of the fact that the picture Justin does might differ from the one that you end up seeing on the actual ball.
The pin distance could be different and also Justin would have to end up knowing your PAP and also your span to make it look exact, but I get what you mean by wanting to see the picture.
I did that myself to compare, but I also know that as long as the angle is the same on the ball as suggested by Justin, then you're all good!
It's fun actually taking the time at the pro shop to layout your own gear. Only cause it helps you understand it a bit more, but then also get the feel for laying out gear. That is if your pro shop actually will let you get in there and borrow their stuff.
I'm lucky enough to get that opportunity, but I know that for some it isn't that easy.
If I had a blank ball, I'd try to draw this up for you myself.

fupa, he knows my specs, he has done it before and worked wonders for me....i jus cant figure out how to map it all out on the ball...
