Bowling April 30 (8:30P) and May 1 (530P)....
9 weeks and counting..... have county and state tourneys before then. Tuning game and equipment for the more difficult conditions. The excitement is building...

April 26 and 27. First time ever going to Nationals so this is going to be very fun and a good experience. Still have state tournament to do next weekend so bowling on some harder conditions will definitely help get my feet wet.
As far as equipment, Here's what looks like I will bring and have by then: 716T 505T GT1 QZ2 Backdraft - will try a dull surface instead of polished QZ2 - replacing my 505C RX1 Silver
Might add a 14lb. Raptor Attack by April to replace my 15lb. GT1.

Looking forward to another trip the the USBC Open. The Linds/Cedervale team bowls April 15-16. Not 100% sure what to think of the pattern. Kind of looks like the out might not be to bad. Though I think this is kind of an illusion. I would love for it to be on the gutter though. Have not had the time practice on the patterns as of yet. Thinking the Motiv stuff in my bag will fit well though.

Bowling Jun 1 & 2. Looking forward to the new set up. I got a busy scheduled ahead. Finishing traveling league in the upcoming weekends. City and state tournament during march and april. Playoff for traveling in may, then heading to Baton Rouge, LA.
I will bring my (2) Primal Impulse, Sigma, both of my QZ 1 R/P, RECON Silver and my new Storm Frantic. Also, bringing my 900 Global Eagle which perform great during state tournament last year. Looking forward to add the new Crossroad from storm.

i talked to a couple guys that just got back from Nationals. they both struggled bad. They said the lanes hooked a lot but outside 5 board was OB and you really need to go straight at your spares. They also put some time on the practice lanes there but said the actual nationals shot was way different than the practice lanes they spent 200 bucks on. The one guy wound up scoring best with regular urethane. they both said to leave all the real strong stuff at home. That sounds very much like the normal nationals shot to me.
