Hello everyone.
I am having more trouble than I expected trying to figure out if Motiv uses different cores for lighter weight balls. I remember reading in a forum about a company that uses the smae cores even in their lighter balls, I just can't remember what company it was or where I read it. I'm asking because I want to get my wife a new ball, and she has always thrown 12 pounds. I think she would be okay jumping to 13 pounds, but not so sure about 14. Thanks in adavnce for the help!

Motiv uses the same cores in lighter weight balls. I've got a Recon orange that weighs 13 pounds and hit can hit just as hard as my 15 pound balls. They DO NOT use pancake cores (thank goodness)

MOTIV uses cores in all weights, but the only difference is the density of the core itself in the ball. It'll be the same core shape/size, but just different weight.

Motiv does use the same cores in all weights but if you check the rgs and diffs you will see that they vary by weight. Morich is the only company that has the same specs(rgs& diffs) for all balls in the 13-16 lb range
