One of my youth bowlers had told me for a while he would not throw Motiv because they did not "hit".

He moved up to 15 lb equipment and I gave him a used QZ2. His ball driller (Joe Elam, Xxxtreme Reaction Proshops) plugged and punched it up and Jacob came into league today as a 199 Avg (but improving quickly) bowler. First game he shots a 267, followed by a 194. He made a little move on both lanes, which he figured out, and left an 8 pin in the first frame, then proceeded to throw the next 11. It was Jacob Judd's first 700 series, and first honor score. I told him he had to fill out paperwork and had to explain to him you WANT to fill out paperwork, it means you shot an honor score. He was really nervous on the last four pitches, and came to talk to me to calm him down.

It's an honour and pleasure to coach kids like this, and watching Jacob become the bowler he is, and seeing the bowler he will be, has been and will be fun.

Here is a pic of bowler and Coach.
