Ok, I've been having major issues with this. What's the proper way of doing this consistently? I've tried plastic spare balls and used the method of placing my index finger closer to my middle upon release. 10 pin and 6-10 pin combos have been my nemesis. Any advice?

Just have to practice on what works best for you. Everybody does not throw the ball the same! However what I can say is flat wrist, stay behind the ball all the way through your swing, release at the ankles, follow through and reach your hand as far to the ceiling as possible!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4GH-N_A ... ata_player

For me, with a plastic ball, I don't change a thing on my release (synthetic lanes, 40 ft. pattern) and I stand on 35, look at 20 at the dots, and I make the 10 about 95% of the time. 6/10 I stand 30 and do the same target. 99%.
