Bought a Primal Impulse November 28/2011, has less than 20 games on it. Was going to practice with it today and the pic is what I found. It has been in my bag in my closet.........

I'm sure that's a warranty replacement. Shouldn't be an issue.

that is also why you drill the pin at least an inch from any holes in the ball, to keep the pin from being an even weaker spot on the ball. but it does suck.

I have no idea about that, that's why I take it to a pro shop...anyway Motiv has been great, they answered my email very quickly and have no problem replacing it if I ship back the bad one. I shipped it back yesterday and if what you say is correct about the pin placement I will also be having a discussion with the driller!!!!!!  Motiv is standing behind their product and I will continue to stand behind them. Would the pin placement cause it to crack between the finger holes?

Any penetration of the coverstock is a weak point, the pin and holes drilled included. With Motiv balls, this is an extremely rare occurrence, but it simply is the nature of reactive covers. It will happen occasionally, even with the best formulas in the world.

Yea Justin I never believed it was a trait of Motiv, just wasn't too happy. That's why Motiv wants it back because it is so rare they want to figure out what happened. I'm still going to get a couple more Motiv balls before my winter league starts...

the only ball ive had crack was my sx1 and that ball is how many years old? i love that you can have confidence in your equipment lasting you for a really long time
