if its a THS I would suggest one of the ascent's or a backdraft at most considering how much your going to get out of the balls with a 500 rev rate. They work for me and im around 400 so i cant imagine how they would be with 100 more on it haha.

Alot does depend on what *exactly* you are bowling on. However, without that knowledge, I would say your best bet for a decent lineup would be Raptor/Sigma Tour(low RG),Backdraft, hybrid reactive(mid), and maybe the solid Ascent(high). The Backdraft has a 2.55 RG but dont let that fool you. This ball HOOKS & CONTINUES! I would suggest watching some videos of these balls as well. Nothing wrong with being more informed. Ive watched alot of them to base my own opinions and I havent been steered wrong. Hope this is somewhat helpful to you.

For ths I really want to get into motiv balls just don't know what ball should I start off with as a benchmark... I really like my hyroad but I think the backdraft will be like the hyroad but more hit power.

For your rev rate/speed. I would go sigma tour or qz2 backdraft. Around the 3rd game you are going to want something a little easier to control, i would follow that up with a Ascent Pearl.
I know asked for 1. But ia m telling you, that ascent is an AWESOME third game ball.

My Backdraft is unquestionably my benchmark ball. Having thrown a few Hyroads before, it has the same continuous, never roll out reaction. I think the Backdraft is smoother off the spot than the Hyroad. I am also convinced that the Backdraft is the most versatile ball in the Motiv line. As for a game 3 or later ball, the Ascent is definitely an amazing piece. Friction is its best friend. When the lanes force you to get out of your comfort zone, the Ascent will let you stay right in the thick of it. There isnt a "hole" in the Motiv line. They truly have all the pieces that ANY bowler could ask for.
