Without knowing at least your PAP, speed, or rev rate, this is a bit of a shot in the dark. Those balls are in such mint shape I cant even see a track.

One last question I promise. How far from fingers and thumb is your track?

It tracks pretty close to the fingers
I just dont want to guess on my PAP
going to the center tomorrow and will talk to my driller and get my PAP

yeah balls show no track at all and the Reacon pic was taken after a set
With these drillings the Reacon is actually stronger than my SX-1 meaning it hooks sooner

450RPM and 14MPH is significantly rev dominant.

Do you have any video up of you bowling?

Nope no videos.
The drilling that is 70 X 40@2" looks similar to a dual thumb layout is that the case?.

All the drilling look very controllable in your videos
I like the 70 X 40 look the best

The only similarity would possibly be the measure of the drilling angles, depending on your PAP. The purpose of a Double Thumb layout is to max out the final drilled numbers. The 2" pin results in a low drilled differential. This helps tame and control the reaction.

The 70x40 struck the most on that shot. I didn't have as much area as the other layouts, but the roll was predictable and the carry excellent.

I've been bowling in this one house for some years now,not like most this shot is a med oil flat pattern.I've tried finding a ball and layout that would work with hot and cold results. the shot seems easy at first untill you find out it becomes very inconsistant very fast with the several different bowlers and styles pushing the oil around.

this season it seemed to be worse for me or with the equipment and layouts I tried,6 weeks into it I had 3 400 series and was at wits end.I tried the QZ2 OOB with a 70*x2.5"x40* layout p3 wt.hole and it so far made a world of difference. shot a 580 something that should of been a 600 but I changed from the QZ2 to another ball when the shot opened up.after 3 splits in a row I changed back to the Q and still salvaged a 185. very easy ball/layout to use, nothing extreem and gets you in the pocket, adjust easily to different hand positions and I made every spare with it as well.

my stats are:
speed-16 @ pins
rev's-400's
rotation-30-70
tilt- 10*

hope this helps

I'm not sure on the pin yet but will let you know and see if the 70X40 will still be good

I know with no video it's a shot in the dark but I do appreciate all the help
