I did not realize that the Ascent line was using the Motivator-Z. I believe this is a good factor rather than using the weaker cover which when combating carry down in the both the SX-1 and TX-1 which I had both would skate and get iffy on carry down. Great on fresh. Good move by Motiv IMO.

carry down is not an issue at our house. Like i said before, I use my Rx1O sometimes starting 3rd game and it has plenty of come back and hitting power. No over under. that you may seen if there was carry down. But again. With the Recon line gone, The accent may be the only was to go. I'll need to figure out a drilling for my dad based on a 36' burnt lane. I'll find an older post with his specs and how his other ball is drilled.

The Venom Strike (the newest addition) to Motiv may be just right polished up. If the lanes are burnt up, this ball has more of an arc to it and you should be able to control it.


I take this comment about the venom Strike back.. After throwing it for a few games.. Polished it up and the backend was still ridiculous even after getting through the heads smooth.. Very Surprising .. This ball is much stronger than I anticipated..
