how would 60 or 65 instead of 55 change the balls reaction. I had a cruel le with same layout, but no p3 hole. Im excited about this ball. my other motiv balls have been aggresive. cruel le, 2 cruel and raptor. they have change the the oil patten for our league, to less oil and my balls hook to much. I think the Thrash is the answer? thanks

It is symmetrical, so it won't impact the reaction.

had my thrash drilled. the proshop said he could not add a p3 hole because of my large hand span and the size of the pin? so it's 55x40@4.75", without hole .he said a p4 hole is the thumb hole. I was liking the p3 hole idea. I've never had a ball with a balance hole. any thoughts?

How does it roll without a hole, and do you feel it needs modification?

In symmetrical balls the PSA ends up in or near the thumb, so P4 being the thumb is correct. If the pin to CG distance is on the shorter side, and your span is long, sometimes the static weights will restrict where you can place holes. Drilling the middle finger deeper can shift some weight to the positive thumb quadrant to help keep things legal. It sounds like your driller has a good idea of how things work.

I've had my thrash for awhile now. It hooks alot more then I wanted or expected. The lanes I bowl on, are med. oil. My 2 cruel is way to aggressive. The thrash is close to the same. If I 3000,4000 abralon pad and some polish to the thrash. Do you think that would tame it down some?
