Hi guys. My 12 yr old throws a 12lb qz2 quadfire and is doing great with a 158 average. I am going to bring him to the CTF tournament in January which I believe uses Kegel patterns. Looking at the specs is it worth it to add a more aggresive ball? How much more would a Raptor move for him. He throws the ball down and in mostly, but struggles with carry on heavier oil. The QZ2 actually has a higher differential in the 12lb weight category? I would like to get him a heavier ball but I believe I would be rushing it a bit.

Thanks for any input,
Steve

The P7 is actually one of the very few 12lb balls with enough intermediate differential to be considered asymmetrical. The P7 will transition faster and provide more hook and hitting power because of it. As far as exactly how much, there are too many variables to predict exactly but there will be a noticeable difference in shape and hook.

Thanks. If I sent you a video with his current ball and layout could you suggest one for this ball. On a side note, had the pleasure of meeting Angela Wilt, aka Motiv girl earlier this year while my boys were practicing. She really liked the Sigma Hybrid. Just not sure that would be aggressive enough.
Thanks!!
