I have been throwing Roto Grip and Columbia equipment for a while now while keeping an eye on the Motiv equipment. I actually tried a Cruel SE when they were first released and it didn't roll to well for me. I'm thinking about trying some Motiv equipment again to see how it matches up with my game. How durable are the Motiv covers (longevity)? I've had issues with balls from other companies cracking and also dying out before its time even when cleaned regularly/properly.

Also if I were to put together a four ball arsenal to use in league, what would be a good set up? One ball being the Raptor Attack. I say the Raptor Attack, because my local pro shop has one in stock at a pretty good price and also because I normally have success with asymmetrical cores. Not many people use Motiv in my area. I bowl at a house that has Brunswick synthetics with a heavier 41' house shot (5 man league). I am a power tweener with a 225 average. Thanks...

Covers are the least cracking and longest lasting in the game.

Raptor Talon - Heavy, even read
Raptor Attack - Medium Asymmetrical
Thrash Frenzy - Long and strong when the fronts go away

The 4th choice will depend on a niche motion you might really want to see, or something specific you need to hit a certain shot or hall.

I'd like to know this answer as well.

Completely different animals. The TV4 likes straighter angles with a high texture cover, and the Raptor Attack is a very clean asymmetrical.
