Just wanted to chime in on the Venom Toxin & what I have seen from it so far.
I threw it for the first time at a tournament last Saturday for about 4 games. 112 entries, scratch, eliminator style. I ended up finishing 6th. Very long day... 7 1/2 hours. Motiv Staffer, Scott Santos was there... I got around him down the stretch somewhere during match play.
Lanes were not easy! I have no clue what was out there, i never cared to inquire as i usually don't... but to make the round of 16, the cut was only +30. And that was me. So yeah, very challenging.
Anyway, i threw the ball again in league on Tueday... this ball is impressive to say the least. Way more backend then I anticipated with this piece, on both the THS & tournament condition. The best way I can describe it is an "angular arc." I absolute love that I can easily pin point where the ball is actually setting up & map a break point. This is by far my favorite release so far from Motiv. Very nice read that I get with this. It will be in my bag for a long time. Also... I throw 14lbs due to a bum wrist... I have a bunch of hand & only throw it around 16 mph. I have more trouble with weak hitting equipment then I care to elaborate. But again, the Toxin destroys the rack. All of the Motiv equipment I currently have hits fine. I had some issues with the Sigma Hybrid & the Primal Impulse, but they have since been sold off.
A shot of the layout on my Venom is below.
I also have a 2nd Toxin getting ready for drilling. This one will have the MOtion hole layout. And i hope to have a video on both balls soon.
Awesome stuff Motiv. thank you.
