I was wondering how a 2" Pin to PAP with the cg towards the center of grip would work on an ascent solid. looking to have it hook just a little more than my urethane with a similar reaction. I'm not sure if this would make it hook less than urethane though so thought I would ask first and get thoughts.

It would be a "hook/set" type of reaction. Depending on the surface and lane conditions you encounter, it may be like your urethane, or it might be worse as far as hooking early and not making much of a move on the back end.
It would be a good layout for conditions where "9/" is a good score though.

This would definitely be similar to a urethane like reaction. I wouldn't worry about it hooking less than your urethane. The cover is a lot stronger, that should give you what you're looking for.
