I heard a rumor of a successor to the QZ1..... I am wondering if this is true?

The one thing to remember about competition within companies of the same product,is all companies do not want the other beating them to the draw on their next product. When the product is ready to go into production then the marketing arm of the company will start leaking information on said product. At this point MOTIV has numerous projects in the works that everyone has been asking for, plus other exciting bonus material.
What are you asking for? 1. Plastic,Plastic with MOTIV logo core,Plastic with a dynamic core . 2.Entry level ball. 3.Three or four ball inline roller bag 4.Everything else in between.
The other point that we must be made,is MOTIV made cores for Brunswick for many years. They must make sure that the cores that they design do not infringe upon designs of any of the cores that they made for Brunswick. So MOTIV is trying to be revolutionary in the designs in cores. For a new company so far so good. One last point! Think BIG about the upcoming releases.

I'm betting money that the next ball will be one of two things:
1. A pearl between the QZ1 and SR2 with a higher rg and diff. for length and flip on backend.
2. A solid between the GT1 and TR2 with the strong midlane but abit more backend that's not too strong for THS.
Bowl Expo in June will be a long wait for another release if we do have to wait til then.

Waiting until Bowl Expo does seem like a while to wait but they do not want to do what the other manufactors have done and institute a "ball of the month" club. Typical bowling season is half over. Best to promote the good bowling balls they have for the rest of this season and introduce new stuff this summer. Plus, it gives them some time to test out new coverstocks, cores, etc. and get good feedback on what works and what doesn't. They have 7 balls out right now that are all good! And remember, good things come to those who wait!
