GLOSSARY
Break Point:
That exact moment when a frustrated bowler snaps and totally loses it. Occasionally, this is followed by the bowler kicking or hitting the ball return.
Cranker:
This is the bowler who just about melts the cover off the ball as it rips down the lane with insane revs and then shatters the headpin with a 16 board jump on the backend. Boom!
Head:
Obviously, this is the foam on top of your beer.
Mass Bias:
A large group of people having the same bias toward something. Example: Most bowlers will soon have a mass bias for MOTIV™ bowling balls.
MOTIV™:
Revolutionary bowling equipment with NeoMark™ urethane graphics. Arguably, the most exciting equipment on the market.
MOTIVator:
These are the people in the trenches spreading the word on MOTIV™ brand equipment.
MOTIVnation:
The community of brilliant, highly-skilled, amazing people who bowl with MOTIV™ brand bowling balls. Some of the smartest people we know.
Particle Coverstock:
This crazy cover is like a microscopic landscape of glass shards pointing in all directions. Wicked stuff! Slow motion footage likely reveals the lane surface getting shredded like a log through a wood chipper. Covers can't get much more aggressive than this.
Reactive Resin:
The opposite of complacent resin, which just doesn't do much at all.
Stroker:
A bowler with a fluid swing and smooth delivery. Okay, that's great, but the term itself... "stroker" ...why was that word chosen for the official lingo? Let's just say that brainstorming session could have been a little longer.
