High School Bowler of the Month - October 2013

Name: Rebecca Broerman

MOTIV Product: Venom Toxin

MOTIV Story: Rebecca is a Senior this year and is anxiously awaiting this bowling season.

For the last two years she has helped push her team to qualify for State.

In 2010 she was the highest average freshman girl in the state.  In 2011 She had the 3rd highest average with a 207.  In 2012 she finished with a 219 average, second high in the state and had a high game of 290.  She finished as conference champion and 4th place in the state tournament individually.

She bowls many Greater Iowa Scholarship Bowling Tour tournaments and Minnesota Junior Bowlers Tour tournaments as she can.  She Won Her first GISBT October 12th 2013 only 3 days after throwing a 300 in practice!  She finished 4th place in Junior Gold U15 division and has again qualified this year for Junior Gold.  She works at her families bowling center frequently where she does everything from cooking, oiling lanes, and machine repairs, but her real passion is coaching.  She spends many hours a week before and after league coaching youth and adults alike.  She has signed her National Letter of Intent to bowl at AIB College in Des Moines Iowa.  Her passion for this sport is very strong and she hopes to one day work in the bowling industry either as a coach or for a ball company.
