This Microcell Polymer technology is something else! With my average rev rate, I had never been able to get the right shape/look with previous urethanes but between the Blitz and the Covert Tank, I've been able to produce those shapes. The Blitz is unbelievably strong and continuous. On a house shot I can "Stand on the big dot" and throw it to the right and this thing picks up with ease and hits like a truck! Looking forward to throwing it on some short patterns and seeing what it can do! Layout I used on this was 30x5.5"x70 which puts the pin below my middle finger.

First thing I said when I threw this ball....holy crap!!! This is an awesome piece and will go with me to a lot if not all tournaments. The cover on this ball is so strong it's hard to believe and matching it with the Gear core from the Venom line, this is a definite home run. I recently threw this ball on a 47 foot pattern and it surprised me for how much it actually hooked. It provided me with a very controllable reaction that allowed me to play in multiple parts of the lane. Not something a "urethane" type ball has ever given me before. I threw this on our 40' house shot and needless to say there was simply not enough oil to keep it on the right side of the head pin. I drilled mine the exact same as my Covert Tank and this Blitz is easily an arrow stronger if not more. Good one-two punch to have in your bag for sure.

I looked forward to seeing this ball on the lanes because I wanted to see earlier and smoother ball motion vs. the Covert Tank. The Gear core from the Venom Shock and the Microcell Polymer cover gets the Blitz to read sooner and shows me the smooth continuous motion down lane. I actually see more of a urethane shape with this ball and still don't have to worry about all the carry down I'd create with actual urethane. The Blitz gives me the ability to start right and gradually open up my angles without sacrificing the ability to carry those corner pins.
I highly recommend this to all.
Wow... Just wow. The Tank Blitz has a ball motion that has made me do a double take multiple times. Early and more forward rolling balls aren't supposed to create this much continuation. They just aren't. Once you start to open up your angles, they never seem to go through the pins the right way. This was the case pre Tank Blitz. I can play as far out or as far in with this ball and have zero concern it'll turn the corner. The versatility comes from how this ball moves off the spot. The Blitz just keeps coming around. The new Frixion+ Microcell Polymer cover 2.0 is wrapped around the iconic Gear Core. This marriage produces the most unique ball motion currently on the market.
In my Tank Blitz ball motion video I compare it to the Covert Tank and the Venom Shock. The Blitz is significantly stronger than both. Click on the link below to see the Tank Blitz in action.
Recently drilled up this piece for a couple tournaments coming up and man this ball is something else! Before I was staffed I bowled for a collegiate program that was staffed through Ebonite, where we generally threw purple hammer's on everything.
For me, this ball matches up to the purple hammer very closely, it's the anomaly type ball that can bail you out of pairs that are a lot tighter than expected. You can use this ball playing every part of the lane, kind of like the purple hammer, but this ball allows for better continuation and quite frankly "sees" the lanes better than the purple. In my mind this ball is the superior ball and will be in every Motiv staffers bags, Guaranteed! I know I will probably carry two or three of these to every tournament!
