This ball has angle. Seriously.
It's a big strong core with a cover that clears the junk, but reads the friction like it has a microscope.
"LEFT TURN CLYDE!" comes to mind.
NOW... that said, this ball isn't perfect for every situation. When it is good... it's great. When it's not good, you will know right away because it can leave you with some nasty stuff.
For a tourney bag, this is a solid choice. For a house ball, Ehh... it's going to depend on your house. I would say High Volume, Long pattern, and you can go across the corner of the pattern, this could work for your house. If that doesn't sound like you, I'd still grab it for big nasty tourneys where a ball like this is needed. I do think that it will pair up nicely with the Fury as the opposite reaction.
Now to get a Fury and confirm that!
It is my benchmark ball at the beginning of the league, works well for me with heavy and medium oil, I love the way it hit the pins, so strong!! Work well on the middle of the lane and I had a chance to throw in different parts of lane.
I just returned to bowling after 3 and a half years due to some medical issues. I struggled mightily the first 2 games. I couldn't get my Venom Shock nor the Forge to find any consistency down the lanes or into the pocket. Seemed like the more I adjusted the worse it got. I started missing the pocket all together. I brought out the Raptor I had yet to ever bowl with and everything changed. I strung 7 in a row, this ball was digging in from everywhere. I believe on strange or heavy oil patterns, you will like this ball a lot. I'm using a 14 as well. So if your a bit older or need to move down. It's all good.
Love this ball, it’s clean through the heads and hits strong. Have to keep the speed down, but it is a good ball. Like to have this with a stronger cover. if you do, keep it blue with 10% Metallic Red and 5% Gold maybe.
