The Trident Nemesis, what an extremely clean ball. I drilled mine 30x4.5x30. With this layout for myself the ball is extremely clean out of box. The out of box surface being 5500 is pretty high, and being a lefty I typically don’t need anything with that high of a surface, so I took it down to 2000 and I am in love. I find it to be a great ball to go to when my supra is a little to late and I still need to keep my angles open. With the ball being an asymmetrical it really allows the ball to not have to fast of a response off the spot and keep a predictable reaction. This is definitely a piece I was missing in my arsenal.
The Trident Nemesis comes with the Infusion HV Pearl Reactive coverstock wrapped around the all new Sidewinder core. Being that this cover is a new formulation of that on the Motiv Supra, I was pretty excited to see just how angular this asymmetrical ball would be. I drilled mine with the pin above the bridge which is the same layout I used on my Alpha Jackal.
Out of box at 5500 Grit LSP, this thing is super clean through the fronts. I was a good step right off my Alpha Jackal line and felt like this ball played great for my play style up the boards. After a few games with the Trident Nemesis, I switched to the Supra and moved about 3 boards parallel right to get the Supra to the pocket. I wanted to get the Trident Nemesis to roll just a tad sooner, so I hit it with a 3000 pad and went out for another practice session before a big tournament coming up. As you can see in my review video, the Trident Nemesis became much smoother and easier to read when carry down was present. It was still about 4 boards weaker than my Alpha Jackal so it earned a spot in my bag for the tournament. The Trident Nemesis came in handy as that seemed to be the only ball in my hand the entire week. Whether it was the fresh squad or the burn, the Trident Nemesis rolled great on this heavier and longer pattern. This would make a great pearl asymm piece in your bag if you’re looking for something cleaner than your Alpha Jackal or Jackal Ghost.

I was excited to see a Pearl in the line and love the Trident series of balls. I was not ready for the sidewinder core but quickly found that I love the shape of this ball.
I was able to move right and had confidence playing left to right. The Nemesis allowed me to play in the oil but when I hit the friction it was very responsive. Very smooth, looks great going down the lane and is a great compliment to my equipment. Can play on the fresh or allows me to chase the oil.
The Trident Nemesis was designed to create lots of angle down lane. This asymmetric ball wrap in the Infusion HV (high volume) pearl reactive cover stock will give you the shape you want on those higher volume oil patterns! The Sidewinder weight block (asymmetrical) will also give you lots of drilling options too given the impending balance hole rule change in August 2020. This is a good looking ball which really does the job of giving me traction in the oil, shape down the lane and powerful continuation through the pin deck. It’s a must in my bag!!
The Trident Nemesis is the newest in the Trident line. It has a new Sidewinder asymmetric weight block along with the Infusion HV (High Volume) Pearl Reactive cover technology. This ball since getting it drilled has not left my bag for a league or a tournament. This ball shows more continuation through the pins than any ball I have seen. The shape this ball provides is just like the Supra, but a lot stronger. This ball is awesome on the flat patterns when you have to play deep, but you still need angle and continuation. You will be making this ball your nemesis if you don't order one.
