Hi,

New here and first post. :)

I really love my 13 lbs QZ1 Red as it is the only ball which I found in the market with a core same as those heavier balls. I has downgraded from a 15lbs which I used to throw because I have suffered a wrist injury on my right hand several years ago which prevented me to throw a much heavier ball. Now I found that I even have some problem throwing a 14lbs.

Is there any new balls coming up in the future that have the core in the lighter weighted balls? I'm searching for a oily condition as my QZ1 is good for medium lanes.

Thanks,

The TR2 is available in 13lb and is a very good oil ball. The SR2 is also available in 13lb and would sit between the TR2 and your QZ1.

P.S. Welcome to the forum :)

Guys,

Firstly, thanks for the welcome and suggestions!

I have brought a new 14 lbs SR2 and has it sanded to 1000 grit to fight through the flood. It really reacted to my local lanes very well. Unfortunately, I need to change to my 13lbs QZ1 after 4-5 games before my wrist give way. :(

By the way, does the 13lbs TR2 and SR2 has the Thrust/Sigma core? Or they have just the simple pan-cake core? If yes, I might consider getting a TR2 as my oil ball. In this way, most or less I have completed my arsenal.

Finally, my average has increased 20+ pins after changing to Motiv!

Happy to join the Motivnation!
