So I've always had 2 or 3 of the same ball with the same layout and adjust the surface to counter the conditions while maintaining roughly the same line.
I'm looking into 3 of the Orange Recon's and am going 4000 polished, 1000 sanded, 500 sanded.
I'm a high track, med rev, 14mph thrower and am wondering if the Length or Length and backend layout would be best.
I like that this ball appears to have a nice smooth arc and I like my motion to be predictable from ball to ball and let the cover do a lot of the work.
Any input?

A dual angle layout would definitely be more precise on the wanted reaction. Post your stats and Justin will help you out with the layout.

Take a look at my RX1S video. The surface preparation on both is box, so this accentuates the difference seen with layout and VAL angle adjustments.

You can even further separate ball motion with surface. In the Primal video I have 5 laid out differently with some surface adjustments, I have been carrying these 5 balls with much success the last 3 weeks.
