I figured you would be the best person to give me general ideas on what layouts I should use for the new MOTIV balls I'll have coming soon.

Below are my stats that I finally got figured out after a few weeks and I would like some suggestions on potential drilling layouts that I could use on new MOTIV balls to fill in with what I have already.

PAP: 3 3/4" Right - 1 1/4" Down
Rev Rate: 375 RPM
Speed: 16.76 MPH (Off Hand)
Axis Tilt: 17°
Axis Rotation: 60° - 70°

Below is what my current equipment is how my other MOTIV balls are drilled up.

Primal TV4: 55x25@5.5"
QZ2: 50x45@4.75"

As you know, the Primal is very smooth for me through the front, but hits like a freaking train on the backend.

As for the QZ2, it does go long and has a nice motion into the pocket and actually has pretty good pin carry.

Below are the MOTIV balls that I plan on adding into my bag over the next few months if at all possible and they are available.

Cruel LE
SR2
Recon RX1 (Silver)
SX1

What layouts would you suggest for the above MOTIV balls to fit in nicely with what I have already?

Also keep in mind that I am open to all and any suggestions regarding equipment and if you feel that other balls might suite me better in the long run.

Side Note: I figured I'd make this my 300th post, haha!

LE: 65x40@4.75" Place a hole after seeing what it does.

For the symmetrical balls, tweak the drilling angle to result in .75oz side:

SR2: *x55@4.5" P3

SX1: *x35@5.5" No Hole to start.

RX1S: *x45@5" P1

If the LE seems fine or what I want as far as reaction. Then I guess place no hole, right?

Just want to make sure on that part.

If it is legal then sure no hole, if not P2.

Because of your unique axis point the layouts might look a little different so it is hard to predict statics without drawing up a ball.

That's understandable and what kind of reaction should I expect from each ball based on the layout suggestions?

Based on what we ended up with on the SX1, would you change any of the layout suggestions that you gave above?

Just curious for when or if I get those balls in the mail and get ready to drill them up.

By the way, I decided to hold off on the Cruel LE for now and see what comes out down the road.

On the RX1, put the pin in the middle finger, this will be your burn ball.

The SR2 pin under the bridge and a hole 2.5" down the VAL from the midline.

I can draw these up if you want.

That would be great so maybe the pro shop guy doesn't hate us even more when I get those ready.

By the way, when you draw them up can you give me the full layout?

I appreciate all your help and work on fixing me up.

Once I draw them I'll know the specific layout. I have done enough of your stuff to be able to get the look I seek with visual descriptions. It'll have to wait till Saturday tho.
