I started reading about a drilling that Mo Pinel has developed he says its the most dynamic drilling. Will this drilling work on both symetrical and asymetrical balls. Has anyone used this drilling I would like to know how this ball rolls early , late , rolly or skid snappy. Iwould like to try this drilling but would like some input from Justin and all you other guys .

Depends on your specs and what ball you plan to use it on.

My specs are 4 11 / 16 and 7 / 16 up ball speed is 17. 5 medium revs . Want to know if this would be an agressive drilling for me . Thinking of a Sigma Tour , SR2 or QZ2. What do you think Justin?

I would suggest a SX1 if you can find one, otherwise QZ1. I prefer weak coverstocks to keep the ball from transitioning to quick and burning out

The thing about the double thumb is that it maximizes the mass properties of a bowling ball. While this sounds like a good idea, it isn't in all cases. I would start with a ball that has a decent set of specs. For example the SigT or QZ1 would be a good choice. The Raptor however wouldn't be, because of its built in .060" differential. Unless you are significantly speed dominant a DblThm Raptor would yield less than ideal results.
What surface and lane conditions are you bowling on? That will determine the cover best matched up to your shot.

Thanks for the input guys . After talking to my ball driller he advised me that this drilling was not going to be a good drilling for the balls that I wanted. I ended up getting 3 new balls and a QZ2 that was given to me that I only sluged the thumb to change the pitch and lenghthen my span by 1/8. I now have a Raptor, a Sigma Tour and a Backdraft. I will update you guys after I have thrown a few games with each.
NEW BALLS
Raptor 55 x 4 1/4 x 45 P2
Sigma Tour 60 x 4 x 40 P3
Backdraft 50 x 4 1/2 x 50 P2
QZ2 70 x 5 x 30 no hole 12 games on the ball
BALLS THAT ALREADY HAD
Cruel 55 x 4 1/2 x 70 hole 2 in dwn on VAL 300
Cruel LE 60 x 4 1/2 x 50 P3
SR2 50 x 4 1/2 x 50 P3 Favorite 2 299 3 290
Primal 55 x 4 1/2 x 35 P2 300 first night
QZ2 55 x 5 x 70 no hole
Thanks MOTOJO

Just throwing this out there, but what would you think about the double thumb layout idea for me on my Primal Impulse?

With your PAP coordinates it would be a bit tricky to get an actual double thumb layout on it. Plus, maximizing differential would smooth the ball out for someone rev dominant like yourself. I would say not to.

That explains why you are the teacher and I am the student, haha!
Thanks and I'll probably try to get with you later today or tomorrow to figure out a good layout for one of my Primal Impulse balls. Not sure if I should use the shorter or longer pin, but then again, I hope they sent one of each.
Last time they sent the same length for the Sigma Tour's that I got and I did request it on the form, but no big cause they work great!
