I know the TX1 has been retired however I do not hear much about this ball on this forum. I have found the TX1 to work well on medium to medium light and is very responsive to coverstock adjustments.

When I was first turned onto Motiv products, the Sr2 had just come out, and I think that ball grabbed the attention of many Motiv fans and the Tx1 went on the back burner. I know one guy who had one but sold it, not sure why. The Sr2 was pretty similar, but a little more aggressive, and it took the spotlight, basically.
Personally, I'm a 3 ball guy. I like the Recon for dry, the Sr2 for medium, and the Cruel for wet. Most league bowlers only need a trio like that, and if they have the Sr2, the Tx1 doesn't fit in the mix well.
But you're right... the Tx1 never got much attention. IMO, if you like it a lot for your game, buy another one while it's still available!

Loved the TX1, 2 small wins and a 300 in a tournament. The ball also bailed me out of trouble in a PBA x tournament. RIP it cracked three monthes ago b/c I drilled the fingers it to close to the pin. Ended up selling my 6 inch pin to pap TX1 when I ordered my two RX1s.

I gotta agree with ya, the TX1 never did get the attention it deserves. I have every motiv except recon, sr2, and qz1 and as of late my tx1 (30 x 4.75 x 50 w/ a p3.5 hole) is my favorite ball and often times the first out of my bag. I love its late backend reaction, but i needed to shine it up alot with some compound to get it down the lane.
