WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - For bowlers who are speed dominant, the Tank Rampage Pearl will be a ball for low oil volumes, short patterns, and high friction surfaces exclusively.  Designed for dry lanes, this Tank will only be useful for speed dominant bowlers encountering very high friction environments unless they intend to use a great deal of surface.
  • Balanced Bowlers - Balanced bowlers will lean on the Tank Rampage Pearl when looking for control and their Tank Yellowjacket is either too early or too strong.  This pearl Microcell is intended to provide much easier length without being any more angular than the Yellowjacket.  The result is a weaker, but just as controllable urethane type shape.
  • Rev Dominant Bowlers - For rev dominant bowlers who are looking for a ball that allows them to play straighter, the Tank Rampage Pearl is the answer.  Many senior bowlers struggle to keep resin balls under control due to lower ball speed.  This Tank would be ideal for those bowlers.  Additionally, two handed bowlers and rev dominant one handers will love the ability to keep the lane in front of them with the Tank Rampage Pearl where other urethanes and microcell balls force them to hook the ball too much.

    Closest Microcell Ball to Urethane yet

    I have thrown all of the Microcell polymer ball released by Motiv so far. The Tank Rampage is by far the closest to urethane that I have seen. By far the best Microcell to resist lane shine don’t get me wrong it still does but not nearly as quick as others. Takes surface adjustment very well, make it as rough as you want to get that super early roll and smooth backend. Motiv keeps improving their Microcell Technology with each release.

    Strike queen!!!

    I’ve never used MCP before but I have had a urethane hammer. I was very hesitant about buying this ball because I hated my Urethane hammer and I know MCP is supposed to roll like Urethane. I disliked my Urethane hammer so much after one week of bowling with it I gave it away and I payed for the finger inserts and to have the thumb drilled for the girl I gave the ball to. I figured she would enjoy the ball more than me and it would actually be used. Once I had this Tank Rampage Pearl drilled, I watched a Motiv video about the Tank rampage pearl and one ball had a very similar layout and I studied how it was being thrown and what shape this ball was going to give me down the lane. My first game with the ball I got a 229! My second game was a 249, and my 3rd game 233! The lanes were just oiled and all I can say is I’m playing this ball with my jackal ghost and my laser sniper on League nights! One day I’ll be on Motiv Staff and that’s what I’m working hard to accomplish and I know one day I will get there but until then i’m going to stay motivated!!! Thank you Motiv ❤️

    The new Tank Rampage Pearl is exactly what it sounds like. A pearl version of the original Tank Rampage. The Tank Rampage Pearl uses the same Gear V2 core, but uses the new Frixion M6 Pearl MCP cover, which is a cleaner and just as smooth version of the Tank Rampage Alchemy cover. The Tank Rampage Pearl will be the perfect ball to use for shorter and drier patterns to keep your angles direct.

    The guys Motiv R&D definitely hit this one out of the park.

    Layout: 60x5x30

    I am about a 195+ avg bowler and averaging about 215+ with this ball the last 2 weeks. This ball earned a permanent spot in my bag because it lets me get away with a lot of breaks & is very forgiving when I miss.

    My father also has one, all he got to say is "Wow!" (he is rev dominant and throws about 12-13mph) The way this ball carry got me lost words because its 10 back with his low speed.

    The Rampage is Back!!!!

    Many have wished for the Tank Rampage to be re-released? Wish Granted, in Pearl form! This Tank is Amazing! I decided, with the help of my brother Ryan Zagar, to drill my Rampage a bit Aggressive! Going with a 40x4x20 layout, the Gear V2 core paired with the new Frixion M6 Pearl Microcell Polymer Cover, really brings "Urethane" type alive for me! Throwing it pretty much straight up 10 board and walking into the pocket! (On Natural Wood Lanes with a House Shot) Never have I ever had this type of reaction out of a Ball, and of course, it has to come from my Favorite Line, the Tank Line! I can Definitely see high scores coming out of this ball! Definitely another Tank to stay in my bag! Paired with my Carbide Tank, I really don't know if another is needed! Desert Tank replacement? No, but Definitely has its place! I am Definitely making a new Tank Bag! Expect to see some high scores MotivNation! This Tank is Definitely a Must Have! Do Not Sleep on This Ball! Better get one before it goes on Back order!
