This ball was the sole reason I got back into bowling. Also is one of the reasons I swear by Motiv products from then on. Would totally recommend this ball for even the most seasoned bowler.
It isn't a normal ball I would drill. However, this ball does great on the carry down! Definitely worth a purchase!
Due to my high rev rate and speed it is difficult for me to match up to equipment. This is the first ball I have ever had that I can use for a 3 game set and not have to move much. Very consistent and predictable motion. I had to crack the cover with a 1000/3000 surface pads to tame the motion. But I love this ball and it’s always the first out of my bag!
I have been a Motiv guy for a few years now, own a purple QZ1 , Raptor P7 , Sigma Hybrid, and now a Forge Fire . I took a few years off and got back into league bowling again this season. The house I bowl at created a few challenges for me . With the new rules , I had to have my Raptor plugged since it had a balance hole , that ball just didn't move on this house surface, the Sigma worked a little better but still wasn't what I wanted for reactions. My pro Rich recommended the Forge Fire and he was right on top of it . Took me a game or two to get this ball working the way I throw. I am pretty much parked on second arrow , down and in style. The way the house I currently bowl at , I just needed to move slightly to the left of second arrow and this ball came alive , by the third game this thing as screaming and had to move right or increase speed to keep up with it , which is exactly what I wanted . The first time using it for a full three game block, I shot 651 which is what I was shooting with the Raptor consistently before my 3 year break. Highly recommend this ball.
The Forge Fire for me fits really nice for me between the original Forge and the Trident Nemesis so the ball chart is quite accurate. The Forge Fire allows me to start to migrate inside and gives me a larger swing area when the original Forge starts to burn up after a few games have been bowled.
The Forge Fire also takes surface adjustments very well as I have had success with this ball in a variety of different situations. This ball can be played straight up the lane, and when you need to move inside.
This ball is A MUST to have in your arsenal!
