Following the overwhelming response and competitive success of the Covert Tank™, MOTIV® is proud to present the next stage in microcell polymer technology, the Tank™ Blitz.

Featuring new Frixion™+ Microcell Polymer cover stock, the Tank™ Blitz is earlier and smoother than the Covert Tank™.  To create this powerful new Frixion™+ cover, MOTIV® engineers boosted the oil absorption rate of the microcell polymer to handle higher concentrations of oil.

To complement the intent of Frixion™+ cover stock, a low RG engine was needed in the Tank™ Blitz and the Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock was the clear choice. With a lower differential, the Tank Blitz is capable of low flare layouts and produces a stronger, more traditional urethane shape, but with far better continuation.  

The solid red Tank Blitz with its 2000 Grit LSS finish provides a new shape for competitive bowlers and also gives average bowlers a very early and smooth option for medium oil conditions.

    When you don't know what to grab....

    This ball has saved my bacon a few times.

    Heavy oil?
    whatever.
    tons of carrydown.
    don't care.
    forgot to oil them dry
    Bring it on.

    I have thrown this ball when I shouldn't, but it was that predictable that I could still pull it off. I have stood against the machine, thrown over 4th arrow HARD (probably 19-20), out to the 8 board and this ball has come back laughing asking for more. Is that the condition I'd say is right for this ball? No Way.

    I've thrown this ball on Big Ben and it was a nice down and in. I barely had to move. I wish I would have started the series with this ball.

    Because of this ball I intend to get a Blue Tank and I can only hope that the Blue is as good as the Blitz!

    Amazing

    I was very skeptical at first to use this ball. Wasn't very sure how I would match up with the cover. All I have to say is wow. I can miss left or right with this ball and it still does what I need it to do.

    A Ball That Is Gone, But Remembered

    This is the second bowling ball that I had purchased and I am happy that I bought this right before it was discontinued. I really hope they bring back the MCP because this was my favorite ball when it came to house patterns at my local bowling alleys. It was great to use to see how much oil was on the lane and would help me decide when to bring out my benchmark ball. Highly recommend the ball if you can find it on the streets.

    This ball is exceptional for accurate spare shots. I've converted numerous splits with this ball. The strike balls are so beautiful as well.

    First Motiv Ball

    Kasey Uyesugi, who is on staff at Motiv drilled this Tank Blitz for me. This is my first Motiv Ball and I think I found a new favorite brand. The Tank Blitz is so smooth, very reliable shape, and easy to control. Used it on a house pattern, and could play anywhere. Can’t wait to see what Kasey recommends to me next.
