View Privacy PolicyI always hated urethane growing up, the Motiv started MCP and I bought the Carbide to begin with and was still unsure then I was referred to the Yellowjacket and now I’m use to it it’s one of my go-to bowling balls along with my Jackal Ghost and Black Venom. Goes with me to league and tournaments. Highly reccomend considering getting a second and polishing it

I have a basic 3in pin on this ball and I absolutely love how I can play with the surface on it and it does exactly what you'd expect it to do be doing with those changes! Such a smooth and predictable ball, first ball out of my bag on sport/challenge patterns

I was very skeptical about getting the Yellowjacket, then my wife surprised me with one. It took a minute to adjust to, but now that I got it figured out it is my go to ball replacing my Purple Tank, which I thought would never happen! No matter what rotation of balls I put in my bag the Tank Yellowjacket is always there.

The Tank Yellowjacket is a tank with some TEETH! This ball comes at 1000 grit and really digs hard fresh out of the box. The reaction gets better with some games on it. Once the cover is broken in, this ball gives more of a traditional urethane reaction with motion in the front part of the lane. I like this ball on the shorter patterns with about 2000 or 3000 surface. The Yellowjacket is much straighter than the Carbide Tank which gives the Tank line even more depth!

I own 2. I needed something to fill 2 Desert Tank spots. Had to go down in weight from 16 to 14 after losing speed, age, etc....
This ball loves polish. Drilled and polished it for a short pattern in multi pattern event. 6 bowlers every pair 40 lanes, 120 bowlers. 5.5 out of 6 were all using urethane. Let's just say carry down half way through game 1 was unbelievable. I said well I will just swing the middle of the lane with my polished Yellow Jacket. The ball rolled very successfully averaged about 190 on a very difficult pattern. It went down lane had energy after the turn and carried nicely. As I watched so many struggle out side (very great and established tournament bowlers). My low speed high rev self is leaving this piece polished and in my bag.
The second Yellow Jacket I went for a very different setup, left it at box drilled it just like my sanded Desert Tank. What do you know I now have the urethane shape with a little more pop and carry.
Great option to have when urethane shape is needed, or polish it up and swing the dry or burnt lane when reactive is too much! VERSATILE!
