The new solid purple Venom Shock produces a violent reaction on light to medium oil conditions.  It attacks the lane with the proven Gear™ weight block and new cover technology – Turmoil™ MFS (Medium Friction Solid) Reactive, which is a modified version of the more aggressive shell featured on the Covert Revolt.  This core and cover combination provides a smooth yet angular backend motion that strikes with devastating continuation.   

As far as shelf appeal, the Venom Shock does not disappoint.  The vibrant orange logo really pops off the purple shell.  And, for those that are into glow-in-the-dark bowling, the logos on the ball glow orange and green. 

The Venom Shock really does have it all – performance, looks, and a great price point.  The most shocking thing about this ball may be that you get such outstanding performance at such an affordable price! 

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.   
  • Balanced - For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal.  Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil.  An added bonus for bowlers who love the Venom Shock is how well it responds to surface changes.  
  • Rev Dominant - Those with revs to spare can use the Venom Shock in many volumes of oil and see outstanding down lane continuation for a ball that is conventionally thought of as a control ball.  A shiny Venom Shock is a staple in the bag of many PBA Touring players who want to create some angle without sacrificing control in later transition.

    Venom Shock

    Started bowling in league for the first time last year. Used a ball that was handed down to me but quickly caught the bug and had to have a ball of my own. After a bit of research and a conversation with my local PSO, it was decided that the Venom Shock would be a great ball to get started with. Can’t even begin to give this ball the credit where it’s due. It’s manageable, predictable and is always my go to at league. If you’re looking to pick up a ball, whether it be your first or one of many, I would strongly suggest the Venom Shock!

    My First 800

    I’ve only been bowling for 6 years. My current league average is 198 dropped from 200 after now bowling over the summer. Last night I bowled 258,287,257 with the Venom Shock. I needed a benchmark bowling ball and it is most definitely that. I just recently purchased it less than a month ago. I highly recommend this bowling ball.

    Great ball

    So I got this ball at almost at the end of last season. I was unsure of the ball but my pro shop talked me it to it and I'm not looking back. With that being said it is the first ball I can read the lanes with and score well with. My average from last year was 195 too 209 and 203 with it this year so far. Can't wait to see what how the year go's.

    Blue Venom

    I own 5 Motivs. Trident, Jackal Ghost, Blue Venom, Sigma Sting, Supra Rally. All drilled by a Pro. The conditions we roll required lesser equipment so the Blue Venom was suggested and added to arsenal. No complaints what so ever. The newest rally will blend in late. Absolute Motiv beasts. Nothing these guys cannot handle. Going after Primal or Black next. Still deciding.
