Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. OMG this is one of the best ball I have ever gotten. It's so good shiny and I love the smooth but quick motion that I get. Talking with EJ Tackett, there's a reason why the ball isn't off the market and one of Motiv's best ball ever!

I have had my last 4 300 games with the same Venom Shock. Its 10 years old and still works great. Its my benchmark ball for house shots and most tournaments. There is a reason is been around for over a decade.

The Motiv Venom Shock is my first-ever bowling ball, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to real equipment. From the very first throws, it just felt right—smooth, controllable, and incredibly consistent.
What impressed me most is how predictable the motion is. The Venom Shock reads the lane beautifully and gives me a clean, confident move off the backend without ever feeling jumpy.

This ball is absolutely amazing. I use it for league night and can go all three games with the same drive. Although it’s listed for medium-dry lanes, it holds well on tournament patterns. It’s a terrific all around ball. It can hook, but it also shoots straight when you really want it. My scores have gone up 20-30 points. This ball has been out over 10 years and there is a reason, it’s really that good! Convinced it might be the only ball I’ll ever need.

This was my first Motiv ball, yes a little late to the party. Lol. The Venom Shock is the real deal. I see why its been around for so long. It allows me to play pretty much wherever I want to, I can play down and in with a little speed, or slow wheel it. Definitely will be buying more Motiv stuff in the near future. After about a week of throwing it, I shot 298, 290, 234 for an 822. The Venom Shock is so versatile. #GETMOTIVated
