Well over 10 years later and Turmoil™ MFS (Medium Friction Solid) Reactive is still the ultimate benchmark cover. Clean through the fronts, a strong midlane read, and incredible drive through the pins. It creates the perfect motion for a light-medium oil benchmark bowling ball. Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.
Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. An added bonus for bowlers who love the Venom Shock is how well it responds to surface changes.

This might be one of the if not the best ball Motiv has ever released. This ball in my opinion is the perfect benchmark ball. I know that if I am struggling with transition on a lane/pair I can grab this and it will help me get through at least 3 games. If anyone I know ever needs a relatively strong ball that they can use in the middle of a session I will always recommend this ball

I've tried every surface possible on this ball, and it still delivers. Multiple oil patterns, multiple houses, and it still does exactly what I think it will. People call this a GOAT ball, and it's 100% true. Usually the first ball out of my bag to gauge the lanes. Can't bowl without it.

What can you say about the best ball ever? not hard to understand why Motiv keeps making them after over 10 years now. You know 9 years more than most. If you ever want to recommend a benchmark ball that people will be glad, they have, then here ya go. Great mid-lane, nice continuous motion. Not jumpy, and always will be a ball in my bag for tournaments. You can see I put polish next to my layout. The only solid I have polished, and it just got better for me. I needed it to get down the lane just a little more and that did the trick. Just get one. Ya know you want one.

Just bought this ball and it's working out great as a great ball down option to the Evoke. Strong and powerful! I was totally surprised how much punch this ball packs. Very happy customer!

Add surface in heavier volume to give some better shape, and play deep inside when the lanes break down. It's the ball I always bring with me, especially when going to a new center.
