Clean through the fronts, a strong midlane read, and incredible drive through the pins. It creates the perfect motion for a light-medium oil benchmark bowling ball. Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.
Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. I just recently picked this ball up and I should have bought it sooner. I have been throwing the Primal Shock at one of the two centers I bowl at and it has been absolutely phenomenal, I decided to try out the Venom Shock. I am still newer to bowling and developing/experimenting with my style and have not been disappointed with the Venom Shock at all. I definitely understand why this has been a benchmark ball for so long. Can't wait to continue throwing it and improving!

If this ball isn't in your arsenal, you are missing out. I needed a ball to catch transition after my Coral wasn't reacting after oil push. This ball cuts and has such a great back end reaction on the dry. Definitely a must have.

This is my benchmark ball. I throw this ball first at any house to gauge my line and if I need to go up to the Primal Shock or the Iron Forge or drop down to the Purple Tank or Venom Shock Pearl. I absolutely love this ball, it reads the lane so well.

I can't believe I went all those years throwing Motiv without one of these... Once I got it my world changed for the better! This ball gives so much confidence no matter when you throw it because it's going to work! Fresh, dry, carry down, it doesn't matter. This ball is a staple in the bag for everyone!

I’ve been bowling most of my life but was out of it for about 20 years. Since getting back into the sport I’ve been researching the new technology. I found the Venom Shock and thought it would be versatile enough to grow with me as I learn new skills. I wouldn’t change my decision at all! My ball works great when I throw my straight “old fashioned” style. It’s also being gentle with me as I’m learning to hook the ball. I’ve become a loyal Motiv fan
