Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. I really like this ball as it smooths out the constant over/under conditions our house puts down every night. This ball is very controllable when the transition from oil to dry is instant. Most other balls get very angular and run out but this ball still carries when nothing else will.

I have been bowling since I was a very young child. Over the years I have used dozens of different bowling balls produced by literally every brand. Let me just say, it should not come as a SHOCK to anyone who has ever thrown this ball (or seen it thrown), that it is among the most useful, predictable, hard hitting, and versatile bowling balls ever produced. It is almost always my "go to" 1st ball out of my bag. I am a left handed player who would be described as "balanced". With the Shock in my hands, I can play most any condition on any lane surface. I could not recommend the Venom Shock more highly. Over the past couple of years, I know at least a half dozen league and tournament mates that have purchased this ball after seeing how it rolled for me. Motiv....PLEASE never stop producing this ball.....EVER !!

I needed a new ball recently and a friend turned me on to give Motiv a shot. Sure glad I did! Bought a 15lb Venom Shock and my average has increased 7-10 pins. Just shot a 300 with it last week in league on a house shot. I will say I am not the most accurate spot shooter and this ball recovered from anywhere I missed my mark. I shot 21 strikes in a row that night. It was awesome! I also have used it in a couple tournaments with a sport shot. It is a great ball to gauge where the breakpoint is and adjust your shot or move to another ball. It's so consistent and smooth.

I have an 11 year old Venom Shock and it still works amazingly well. I shot 300 again this morning I. A tough house. My last 5 300's are with this ball.
