Gear Symmetrical

At the heart of the Hyper Venom lies the Gear core, a reliable juggernaut.  The Gear core is a proven force in the world of bowling.  Featuring a low RG / low Differential, this fast spinning, low flaring core promises stability in the mid-lane without the risk of burning up due to excessive flare.

Turmoil™ MFS Solid

Well over 10 years later and Turmoil™ MFS (Medium Friction Solid) Reactive is still the ultimate benchmark cover.  Clean through the fronts, a strong midlane read, and incredible drive through the pins.  It creates the perfect motion for a light-medium oil benchmark bowling ball.  Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.

When to Use

  • Speed Dominant

Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.

  • Balanced

For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal.  Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil.  An added bonus for bowlers who love the Venom Shock is how well it responds to surface changes.

  • Rev Dominant

Those with revs to spare can use the Venom Shock in many volumes of oil and see outstanding down lane continuation for a ball that is conventionally thought of as a control ball.  A shiny Venom Shock is a staple in the bag of many PBA Touring players who want to create some angle without sacrificing control in later transition.

    Absolutely Awesome ball!!!

Picked up myself the Venom Shock recently and I cant believe it took me so long to get one. This ball lasted me through 8 games and never had to switch. As my arm was getting tired, after the 6th game, I just moved my approach to allow for the speed slowing down and it still drove through the pocket like a beast. Definitely see why its called a benchmark ball!

One of My Favorite Balls of All Time!

This is one of the best balls I've ever thrown! I've had multiple of them and they always strike. When I'm throwing this ball, I feel like I have a chance at shooting a big score!

I understand why it’s the GOAT

Got into bowling a couple years ago. Started with Hammer Widow Hybrid 2.0, I went by what people told me what to get. After doing my own research I needed something for dryer lane condition, since I was only bowling on burned out lanes. That’s when I decided on Max Thrill Solid. Great ball elevated my game. I was hooked on Motiv. and now had to get a Venom Shock. Now I have it and boy I wish it was my 1st ball. The versatility with oil condition and/or playing left or right. Unbelievable. I know why it’s the GOAT. My game is now to the next level and ready to join leagues. Now to decide what Motiv for heavier oil conditions.

BOWLED MY FIRST 300 TWO DAYS AGO!!!

I've been a league bowler since around 1995. After viewing several YouTube videos, I ordered the Venom Shock and Lethal Venom. They just arrived last Friday, March 13. I had them both drilled the same day. The next morning, I rolled two practice game apiece. Out of the box,I rolled a 178, and 289 with the Venom Shock!!! Tuesday night is league night. First game 300!!! Game 2 -189, and game 3 - 209. Brand new ball, away for 15 years. Haven't learned it yet and bowled my first 300 game. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!! I'm sure the Lethal Venom will be a great ball for me. But It's going to be hard to put down my Shock!!
