The Max Thrill Pearl will function as the end of the progression for a speed dominant bowler; meaning this will be the ball used for the driest lanes when angle is needed down lane. Speed dominant bowlers will have a ball they can trust at the end of a long qualifying block or when the lanes are truly dry.
Balanced bowlers will be amazed at the performance of the Max Thrill when looking for angle on dryer lanes. The Max Thrill Pearl is a significantly stronger down-lane option than the Top Thrill. Competitive bowlers will be able to trust the Max Thrill Pearl late in tournament blocks.

Got this ball for those late league nights and when you have a lot of different types of bowlers breaking down the lanes all sporadically. This ball coasts down the lane and breaks perfectly for me on lanes with multiple righties throwing inside, outside, and two handed.

I can swing the whole lane with this piece. With my high rev rate and lower speed this is a great transition piece for my arsenal.
I recently purchased this ball while on vacation in Michigan and couldn't be happier. I've been having issues with dry lane conditions and wanted something that'll get down lane with a great back end, but provide more control. After discussing what I was looking for with the PSO we went with a 90 x 4 1/2 x 70 and man was he right. Plenty of length pop on the back end with a smooth transition off the spot. I have lower diff balls with a similar layout but are far less forgiving on cliffed lanes. The Max Thrill Pearl was able to still drive through the pins if you missed inside and was smooth off the spot if you missed to the dry. Very, very glad I picked up this ball.
