Here’s the kicker: Ball drillers can fine-tune the differential on this core to fit your game.  The Overload Core features the unique ability to lower the differential for less flare, perfect for rev-dominant players who need control. Or crank it up by nearly 20% to unlock massive flare and turn the Evoke into a heavy oil destroyer.

Propulsion MXV Pearl

Propulsion MXV = Maximum Versatility.  The Propulsion coverstock is already legendary for explosive backend motion in balls like the Primal Rage Evolution, but there are times that a more versatile and controllable pearl coverstock is necessary. Enter the Propulsion MXV Pearl—built for maximum versatility.  This next-level cover digs in for added traction in oil while delivering a slightly slower response to friction for a more controlled backend reaction.

Finished at 4000 grit LSS, it’s a benchmark starting point for ultimate customization. Want more length and backend pop? Add polish. Need earlier read and smoother motion? Scuff it up. The choice is yours.

When to Use

  • Speed Dominant

    Bowlers with lower rev rates and/or higher speed will likely be able to use the Evoke Hysteria as a league ball when they want more angle than the standard benchmark piece.  The Evoke Hysteria will handle typical house shot volume for many speed dominant bowlers while providing enough down lane pop to carry those pesky corners.   

  • Balanced

    For Balanced bowlers, the Evoke Hysteria is a multi-tool to keep in the bag for tournaments and leagues alike.  WIth a core that can be drilled for many uses and a cover that can easily be tweaked to respond to friction anywhere from moderate to fast, the Evoke Hysteria can serve many purposes for balanced bowlers looking for a medium to medium-heavy oil ball. 

  • Rev Dominant

    For bowlers with exceptionally low ball speed and/or high rev rates, the Evoke is a nice option for a heavy oil pearl with the control sought for such patterns, to a medium oil pearl.  This wide range of options comes from the ability to lower the differential and even shine the coverstock if necessary.

    The Juice Monster

    As soon as I threw my first shot with this ball, I knew it was a one-of-a-kind and I love it, i won't call this ball by its name anymore, it is just known as the Juice Monster to me. It hooks a ton, as soon as that thing touches the dry it takes off like it is a fighter jet. I can throw this ball so many ways, riding the gutter, sending it from over the left gutter, light oil, heavy oil, and anywhere else, you name it. I love it and would recommend to a friend or even someone who ain't a friend. Everyone deserves a ball like this.

    The newest Evoke Hysteria has the Overload core wrapped in the Propulsion MXV cover stock. The new Evoke Hysteria can be fined tuned to meet any bowler’s needs at any level needs. The Evoke Hysteria for me is a slightly larger earlier pearl that I carry in my everyday bag. It allows me to play with smaller angles on heavier volume patterns or really open the lanes up with lighter volumes of oil. I can use the Evoke Hysteria all three games on house patterns and use it on the later blocks in a tournament. It gets down the lanes very easily then you see it start transitioning slightly past the mid-lane. Evoke Hysteria leaves nothing to question when entering the pocket.

    My Favorite Asym Pearl to date!

    The Evoke Hysteria is without a doubt my favorite asym pearl I have ever thrown. It has taken all of the best aspects of the Crimson Jackal and amplified them. With that being said, I still believe you could carry both the Crimson and the Hysteria in the same bag without too much overlap! The Hysteria cover just allows the massive overload core to easily process down the lane without revving up too quick to allow a controllable dynamic response off of friction giving you the ability to utilize it on an extremely wide variety of conditions. I believe the Evoke Hysteria could fit in any bowlers arsenal!

    Home Run! - A Must Have In The Bag!

    I think the team at Motiv have knocked this one out of the park!

    This ball is extremely versatile! I have been able to use it on various sport conditions to a typical house shot and it has looked great every time. On a typical wet dry house condition the Evoke Hysteria blends out the lane and gives control throughout the lane. On sport conditions it picks up the in mid-lane so well.

    I personally really like the 4000 grit finish and the Overload core provides such variety when drilling.

    I do not consider myself very good

    This ball is exactly what I have been missing! I have been struggling with my game and I bought this ball on the day it came out. My second time throwing it, I shot 664 scratch! This ball is so diverse and smooth, definitely one my favorite releases.
