Propulsion MXV Pearl

Propulsion MXV = Maximum Versatility.  The Propulsion coverstock is already legendary for explosive backend motion in balls like the Primal Rage Evolution, but there are times that a more versatile and controllable pearl coverstock is necessary. Enter the Propulsion MXV Pearl—built for maximum versatility.  This next-level cover digs in for added traction in oil while delivering a slightly slower response to friction for a more controlled backend reaction.

Finished at 4000 grit LSS, it’s a benchmark starting point for ultimate customization. Want more length and backend pop? Add polish. Need earlier read and smoother motion? Scuff it up. The choice is yours.

When to Use

  • Speed Dominant

    Bowlers with lower rev rates and/or higher speed will likely be able to use the Evoke Hysteria as a league ball when they want more angle than the standard benchmark piece.  The Evoke Hysteria will handle typical house shot volume for many speed dominant bowlers while providing enough down lane pop to carry those pesky corners.   

  • Balanced

    For Balanced bowlers, the Evoke Hysteria is a multi-tool to keep in the bag for tournaments and leagues alike.  WIth a core that can be drilled for many uses and a cover that can easily be tweaked to respond to friction anywhere from moderate to fast, the Evoke Hysteria can serve many purposes for balanced bowlers looking for a medium to medium-heavy oil ball. 

  • Rev Dominant

    For bowlers with exceptionally low ball speed and/or high rev rates, the Evoke is a nice option for a heavy oil pearl with the control sought for such patterns, to a medium oil pearl.  This wide range of options comes from the ability to lower the differential and even shine the coverstock if necessary.

    The ball is going to change the game. Just picked mine up from the in house pro shop at my alley. I bowl in a very competitive league and did not want to jeopardize my scores because we have a shot at first place. We barely won our first came, second game we are up by 160 pins going in the 10th. Lets pull out the Hysteria..... buried the pocket all three times, plows through the pins like a tank. This will definitely be my first ball out of the bag for the first round in playoffs. Great job.. Love Motiv!

    First ball out the bag

    Motiv has been killing it! This ball has been really fun to use. It's my first ball out for league nights with me being lower rev. It’s so versatile up the lane or if it gets jumpy I can move left. It doesn’t over hook, it's very clean thru the front. Nice continuous motion! Keep it up Motiv!

    Will be the first ball out of the bag on league night!

    This ball may be the perfect house shot ball. When I miss right, it doesn't dart off the friction and go through the head pin, it just creates a stronger smoother arc back to the pocket. When I miss left, it doesn't slide in the oil and leave a flat ten or seven, it still gets that little kick at the end to finish through the pins. And because of the way this asymmetrical was designed, I can make the ball basically do whatever I want by just adjusting my hand. If I want to move left and crank it across the lane, it does that. If I want to move right and throw it straight up 7, it does that. This is ball can easily be a benchmark ball for most bowlers.

    Great ball

    Quit bowling for 26 years. Came back this season and my first ball was the jackal EXJ. Rolls great. The Hysteria was my 2nd and I have found that this ball is the most versatile ball that I have. Anytime I struggle, I fall back to the Hysteria if not already using it.
