Here’s the kicker: Ball drillers can fine-tune the differential on this core to fit your game.  The Overload Core features the unique ability to lower the differential for less flare, perfect for rev-dominant players who need control. Or crank it up by nearly 20% to unlock massive flare and turn the Evoke into a heavy oil destroyer.

Propulsion MXV Pearl

Propulsion MXV = Maximum Versatility.  The Propulsion coverstock is already legendary for explosive backend motion in balls like the Primal Rage Evolution, but there are times that a more versatile and controllable pearl coverstock is necessary. Enter the Propulsion MXV Pearl—built for maximum versatility.  This next-level cover digs in for added traction in oil while delivering a slightly slower response to friction for a more controlled backend reaction.

Finished at 4000 grit LSS, it’s a benchmark starting point for ultimate customization. Want more length and backend pop? Add polish. Need earlier read and smoother motion? Scuff it up. The choice is yours.

When to Use

  • Speed Dominant

    Bowlers with lower rev rates and/or higher speed will likely be able to use the Evoke Hysteria as a league ball when they want more angle than the standard benchmark piece.  The Evoke Hysteria will handle typical house shot volume for many speed dominant bowlers while providing enough down lane pop to carry those pesky corners.   

  • Balanced

    For Balanced bowlers, the Evoke Hysteria is a multi-tool to keep in the bag for tournaments and leagues alike.  WIth a core that can be drilled for many uses and a cover that can easily be tweaked to respond to friction anywhere from moderate to fast, the Evoke Hysteria can serve many purposes for balanced bowlers looking for a medium to medium-heavy oil ball. 

  • Rev Dominant

    For bowlers with exceptionally low ball speed and/or high rev rates, the Evoke is a nice option for a heavy oil pearl with the control sought for such patterns, to a medium oil pearl.  This wide range of options comes from the ability to lower the differential and even shine the coverstock if necessary.

    Motiv - Evoke line, Evoke Hysteria

    I have many Motiv bowling balls and love them all. I got the Evoke when itfirst came out, and out of the box first series was 632.. When the Evoke Hysteria was announced, I immediately placed a pre-order with Bowlersmart. Since receiving the Hysteria, it's been in my bag ( I bowl in league twice a week). I average 190 in league and the Hysteria has been super consistent for me, medium speed, med revs and gets me a game in the 200's in virtually every set. I match it up with the original Evoke at times, and I have to say, I've already put my pre-order in for the Evoke Mayhem!

    Motiv Gateway Ball

    Great ball for controlling cliffs and transition on both House and Sport. Very heavy rolling ball, while still being clean through the fronts
    I got this ball 2 weeks ago and it seems to get better every time I throw it. It is early for a pearl ball and very predictable. I have already used it as part of a 3 man baker win on a cliffed house shot, and it saved my block on a 38 foot sport pattern by averaging 231 for the back 4 once I switched to it. I see why this was peoples 2025 ball of the year, and I am definitely looking forward to trying more Motiv stuff after getting this ball.

    Insane backend reaction

    It took me a few game to dial this one in but the Hysteria has never lost its backend reaction and I'm at least 90 games in with this Beauty! It's the 1st out of the bag and usually last one to go in! The Evoke Hysteria is top notch!

    Love this ball. Fit into my bag perfectly, adding the extra punch I needed. I was lacking a ball that had consistent backend that would always finish. Would definitely recommend this ball to others.
