View Privacy PolicyI was looking to build out my bag and was in the market for a solid cover stock ball. Found this ball at a demo day and fell in love with it! Very smooth and continuous motion on the ball. This is a perfect ball to throw on longer slicker patterns.

Gets through the fronts very clean, has a mean and predictable backend, and continuous through the end of the pindeck! For me personally, this is a ball for later in a block when you need to move a little further in and need something not lazy and with enough of a kick to keep getting out those corner pins! This ball will be a very tough piece to one-up!

Let me first of say this is the first Motiv ball I have drilled in over 10 years. The colors of this ball got me with the eye appeal and I was lucky enough to personally drill this bowling ball up before the release date. Now onto the review.
I drilled this pin above the bridge with the mb kicked 1 1/2 away from the center of my thumb. I decided to throw this after the league so there was some carry down, nonetheless the ball is very strong. The problem with that is the cover tends to burn up too fast and you have to try an tame it a bit; so I hit it with a 3,000 aberlon pad and it seemed to do the trick.
Decided to use it in a league I subbed in and didn't like the reaction by anymeans with the cover at 3,000. Before my league on Sunday morning I used a worn out 360 pad ( yes you are reading this right, a 360 pad ) and then polished the ball. Now I am getting the motion I want to see. The ball clears the heads, while storing the energy and packs a mean punch. Shot 744 with the ball after some cover modifications, I can't be mad by anymeans.
I would give the ball a 5 star review, but due to cover alterations that impacted how I graded this. The ball is uploaded to my Tik Tok if you want to see the layout for yourself. @Deuce300 is my tiktok. I'm not saying to not get this ball, but at least know that this is a very strong cover and it will want to roll way too early for you.

LOVE THIS BALL. GREAT CONTINUATION THROUGH THE PINS. WE CAN PLAY IT A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT ANGLES AND STILL GETS BACK TO THE POCKET FOR 10 BACK.
A COUPLE OF US THROW IT, DOWN AND IN WORKS OR FROM THE 40 BOARD WITH THE BIG SWING AND IT STILL HITS HARD. LOVE THIS CORE / COVER COMBO

Strengths
Evoke is smoother than Jackal Ambush and is more angular than the Pride Dynasty and Black Venom.
Evoke provides slow and heavy traction in the oil while, in terms of overall length it has more than Jackal Ambush.
Evoke provides a strong downlane continuation that results in more versatility on a variety of patterns, the exception being server burn.
Weaknesses
I wouldn’t encourage you to use Evoke on drier conditions, MXC needs oil to feed.
Summary
The combination of Overload, Leverage MXC, and color scheme is what makes Evoke extremely attractive. MXC has always provided me with traction and teeth in the oil, and I expected nothing less from Evoke. In the event that you desire a rounder shape at the breakpoint to that of Jackal Ambush, I would encourage you to evoke greatness and look at Evoke.
Your Game will thank you for it.
