Typically I get too much reaction out of the solid cover stocks with asymmetrical balls, but Motiv did an excellent job with this ball, for me. It doesn't work very well on later blocks, like it doesn't have enough energy to make cleanly back to the pocket when I have to get FAR left. But up until that point, the shape and result are as consistent as I am, if I stay consistent.

This ball has great movement and finish, all around amazing ball. I just threw my 2nd 800 series with it and couldn't be happier, hopefully many more to come with it!

Not only does this ball stand out with the crazy colors but it is backed up by performing on the lane. This ball is a great benchmark ball and is often one of the first balls out of my bag to get a read on the oil pattern for the night. The ball is super versatile and can tame a lane or conversely can help open up a lane as well. Even though the Evoke falls on the smoother side of the Motiv ball chart I think that this ball still provides great continuation.

The Evoke may be the most surprised I have been after using a new release in quite some time. The combination of new core, new cover, and new colors left me with some uncertainty, but I cannot imagine my bag without this ball.
Based on recommendations, I drilled my Evoke fairly strong with a 60 x 5 x 20 layout. This positioned the pin quite high above the fingers with the MB above the thumb with the intent of strengthening the drilled differential with the new core technology.
Out of box the Evoke was quite strong, but still very continuous. After a few games of use, the coverstock began to take down and the Evoke turned into a solid shaped cover that would read the oil but maintain a continuous forward reaction downlane. The Evoke has been a great fit between the strong motion of the Jackal Ghost and the slightly smoother Pride Dynasty & Raptor Fury.
The color swirl of the Evoke is oddly satisfying! Though I was skeptical of this ball’s intended motion & shelf appeal, the Evoke has surprised me with its success on the lanes and sales performance in the pro shops. I’m looking forward to keeping this ball in my bag between the Jackals, the Primal Shock, and the Venoms!

I have heard this ball be called a few things with the colors being what they are. The most common when I place it on the rack is The Beach Ball. Call it what you want, Just know that it Strikes, and Strikes and Strikes some more.
Upon reading up on this ball and then drilling it I was hopeful to get something that would be just a tick, a literal tick cleaner than the Jackal Ambush and that is exactly what I got. The jury was a tad undecided immediately off the press. But once a couple of games were bowled with it the ball shaped and started striking right into form.
Very Pleased with this addition to my bag and I recommend anybody needing a replacement for their Ambush or is looking for Stronger Asym Solid for their bag to get an EVOKE.
