The Blue Coral Venom™ is the first ever hybrid asymmetric found in the 10-year history of the Venom™ line. The latest stage of evolution in the wildly successful Venom™ line, the Blue Coral Venom™ focuses on versatility and benchmark reaction for moderately high friction surfaces. An upgrade to the Venom™ Recoil, the Blue Coral Venom™ provides more traction in the oil with a stronger and more continuous down lane motion.

With the Coercion™ MFH Reactive cover, the Motiv Blue Coral Venom™ provides plenty of length through the front of the lane, while picking up in the middle of the lane with a smooth and controllable transition. This hybrid cover is remarkable thanks to its ability to provide traction in the oil, without sacrificing control down lane. This performance provides the strength and incredible versatility that the Venom™ line is known for.

Versatility is also what makes the Gear™ APG core special.  Its low differential and asymmetry allow the Blue Coral Venom™ bowling ball to attack the pins from shallower angles using a more aggressive cover stock.  Originally deployed because weight holes were being eliminated, the slight asymmetry of this core gives ball drillers more options than a typical symmetric design.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant Bowlers: For speed dominant bowlers, this will be a medium dry lane ball for use at shallow angles.  While many balls for medium-dry to dry lanes tend to skip past the break point for speed dominant bowlers, the high performance coverstock on the Blue Coral Venom™ will have no trouble gripping the lane.  Additionally, the Gear™ APG core allows players who like to play straighter to do so with more ease.  This should be a great ball for speed dominant players to play more direct on fairly dry lanes.

  • Balanced Bowlers:  Bowlers with speed and rev rate that match will find many uses for the Blue Coral Venom™, due to the versatility it offers.  This Venom™ has more traction in the oil than any before it.  The Blue Coral Venom™ has more traction in oil than the Venom™ Shock, and offers much more control than the Fatal Venom™.  Balanced bowlers will be able to use the Blue Coral Venom™ from a variety of angles on medium to medium-dry lanes when other Venoms™ can’t dig in the oil, but other high performance balls are just too strong.

  • Rev Dominant Bowlers:  For rev dominant bowlers the Blue Coral Venom™ is a perfect benchmark ball.  Due to lower speed or higher rev rates, players of this classification often need to “ball down” from what balanced or speed dominant bowlers would use.  While the Blue Coral Venom™ is classified as a medium-dry oil ball, for those who are rev dominant it is a benchmark that offers moderately clean and controllable ball motion.

Here at Motiv Bowling, we want you to excel when you step out on the lane, and there’s no better way to do that than by using one of our high-quality, high-performance bowling balls. Whether you’re just starting out or have been a bowling pro for years, we’re sure to have something that’s right for you and your skill level!

Oh man a Shock with some length !!!!!

I have the Venom Shock and absolutely love it. Sometimes however it can be too continuous for my game. Enter Coral Venom. For me it's like a Shock with about 2 or three extra feet.....and man it makes up for it when it flips. I can stand a few boards right with the Coral and absolutely destroy racks. Warning Messenger alert!!!. I was worried that the asymmetrical core would cause me issues as I typically like symmetric stuff but this ball seems so well balanced between core and cover that man it just works. It also fits nicely in the bag between the Shock and Fatal. Literally only a board or two difference when I ball down to the Fatal and most of the time I don't have to move. I actually reach for this ball first over the Shock now. Over 100 games and the cover hasn't died a bit.

    Crazy hot streak

Just shot my 2nd 300 with this ball in the past 3 months, can't begin to say enough good things about it. I can cover the lane when I need to, and move and point t up the boards if needed. I should have bought a case!

    Amazing ball

This ball will go where you want it to go and has really good reaction time and you can play with on heavy oil conditions it will just be a little bit harder to control

Need this Coral Venom in the bag

I own the Rogue Assassin which smooth ball on the backend. The pro shop owner drilled this Coral Venom to have more angular movement on the backend. The ball travels well through the oil and has energy to finish in the pocket. I played between the third and fourth arrow and delivered 279 244 279 for 802 series. Few weeks later playing much straighter around second arrow bowled 784 series. This ball will not disappoint!!

    It's never to late

I wish I had bought the Blue Coral Venom before I went to Nationals. I had so much over under I could not find a groove and be consistent. My pro shop rep talked to me about the Blue Coral Venom when I got back. I said ok maybe it's time for a change from Storm & Roto. I have more control and continuation without having to force the ball to and through the break point. I like it!!

I would recommend this to a friend
