Fatal Venom

The Fatal Venom™ provides a deadly combination of length with an angular strike on light-medium oil conditions.  It features the latest MOTIV® cover technology and the outstanding original Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock.

The Gear™ core gives the Fatal Venom™ both low RG and low differential so it spins super-fast with minimal track flare.  The result is a stable ball motion with massive energy retention.

Utilizing the latest Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover, the Fatal Venom™ offers great length and angularity. These traction characteristics joined with the control of the Gear™ core provide a clean and moderately angular motion that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant: For straighter angles on moderately dry lanes.  The Gear core and Infusion combo will allow the bowler to use the pearl to clear the front without sacrificing control down lane.
  • Balanced: A great dry lane benchmark piece.  If you know that there is not a lot of volume on the lane or the lane surface is higher friction, this will be a great first ball out of the bag.
  • Rev Dominant: When the most angular balls in the product line are too much down lane, the Fatal Venom will be the go-to option.

    Dominate Pearl Cover

I love the Fatal Venom. When I struggle to keep the Shock on the right side I can switch to the Fatal. No need for approach move or target change just ball change. First 4 weeks average with the ball is 220+. Can’t say enough about how clean the motion is. Plus the ball is very easy to read.

    Fatal venom

Threw 2 games with it OTB and could hardly get it to move then I hit it with a 1k pad and got a few more boards of backend movement but I also had to.slow it down close to the 15mph mark...if the lanes are fried and you've lost your breakpoint I'd definitely suggest this because it has endless length it seems like...hoping to encounter some dry high friction surfaces soon with it so I can give a 2nd opinion...I've thrown it 2 separate occasions on somewhat fresh THS with very little backend movement...definitely not much miss room with this ball...something you definitely have to get used to but on the right conditions I'm sure it's a beast so look for my 2nd opinion in a week or so

    new ball review

The ball performs great just as described on med low oil conditions. However, trying to get this ball to hook is very difficult. I purchased this ball with the expectation of a very dramatic hook into the pocket but after about 100 throws I'm still struggling to achieve the result I want. Could be me but that's my experience hope it helps

    House shot destroyer

The Fatal Venom easily gets through the front portion of the lane and has a nice continuous drive exiting the pattern. Even when it hits light, the carry is above average and pushes the corners out most of the time. This was my first Motiv ball and it will definitely be in my league bag for the foreseeable future. 300/804 within the first month of owning it was a nice added bonus.
